Shinichiro Watanabe who created some of the most renowned anime series like 'Cowboy Bebop' and 'Samurai Champloo,' is directing a short Blade Runner anime. The short 'Blade Runner Black Out 2022' takes place a few years after the first movie and is set during a power outage.
A short clip is below, 'Blade Eunner 2049' is scheduled to be released globally October 6, 2017.
