Rodriguez says that the current plan for the sequel is to himself and not reply on co directing like the last but that, depending on scheduling with 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,' he may have to turn another director for help saying:
"There’s so much of it that I want to direct I’ll probably end up directing the whole thing,” Rodriguez said, “But if I have to step off, I’m going to try and shoot all of the actors and all of the main sequences. But it’s such a fun movie, and it just came out even more fun than I could have imagined.”The new film is said to have Machete (Danny Trejo) teaming with the U.S. Government to take on a Mexican drug cartel and a James Bond-style villain who seeks world domination with a satellite weapon.
