Produced by Peter Jackson, the 3D motion capture film is directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish. The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. The action adventure also features the performances of Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook.
It opens December 23 2011 for the USA, 26 October 2011 for Ireland and the UK.
