Anne Hathaway has been confirmed for the role of Selena Kyle(AKA Catwoman) role opposite Christian Bale in Christoper Nolan's third Bat,am film 'The Dark Knight Rises.' Warner Bros. have also announced that Tom Hardy has been cast for as Bane, who is famous for breaking the Batman's back in the "Knightfall" story arc.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story."Nolan also commented on Tom Hardy playing Bane, saying:
"I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies."The Dark Knight Rises is slated for release on July 20, 2012.
