'The Usual Suspects' writer Christopher McQuarrie will re-team with Bryan Singer to pen 'Jack the Giant Killer'. McQuarrie will take over the writing duties on the project after previous drafts from Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke.The film tells a tale of which is set in motion when a princess is kidnapped, threatening a long-standing peace between men and giants. A young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giants’ kingdom in hope of rescuing her.
Singer is set to begin casting for the film in the next few days, which will be shot this summer in England.
McQuarrie recently just completed the 'Wolverine 2' script and received much praise from Hugh Jackman who had this to say about the script: "The script is in, it's the best one we’ve had"
