The BBC has commissioned a 3D cinema trailer to promote the upcoming series of Doctor Who.The 40 second promo which was shot in 2D and has been converted to 3D will be shown in UK cinemas before 'Alice In Wonderland'. The standard 2D trailer is to premiere on BBC One this weekend.
“Doctor Who is the appropriate vehicle for 3D. It just fits. It’s a great way to introduce and showcase the new Doctor to younger viewers.” said a BBC spokesperson.
