It has been announced that Richard Ayoade will write and direct 'Submarine', his feature debut film for Warp Films.The project is currently in pre-production and Ayoade has already lined up an impressive cast with Michael Sheen and Paddy Considine already on board.
Based on Joe Dunthorne’s debut novel, it is the coming-of-age story of 15-year-old Oliver Tate who is on a quest to lose his virginity to a pyromaniac bully and to stop his mother leaving his father for her capoeira teacher.
Shooting is due to start at the end of August.
