Oliver Stone has signed on to direct and Michael Douglas has agreed to star in a sequel to 'Wall Street'.
Few plot details are known about the new film but previous reports have said the film would be set in the hedge fund era. Shia LaBeouf will play a young worker trying to forge a career in finance.
Douglas told Access Hollywood:
"We're probably going to do a 'Wall Street 2' - maybe towards the end of the summer,"
"It's probably about a week away from announcing it with the elements coming together."
Edward Pressman, the producer of the original Wall Street, has reportedly signed on to produce the sequel. Allan Loeb, who worked on 21, is writing the script.
