Quentin Tarantino has accepted an offer to screen Inglourious Basterds in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.The World War II epic will have its world premiere during at the prestigious film festival. Tarantino previously won the Palme d'Or prize at Cannes for Pulp Fiction in 1994.
The full Cannes lineup will be unveiled on April 23, with the festival running from May 13- 24.
Inglourious Basterds is due to be released in Ireland and the UK on August 21.
