Shia LaBeouf has signed up to appear in an adaptation of new John Grisham novel The Associate.The book, which is published in January, follows the story of a Yale University student who is manipulated into working for a prestigious law firm and given privileged information about a multi-billion dollar case.
Paramount has purchased the rights to the project, while Lorenzo di Bonaventura is attached to produce. Di Bonaventura worked with LaBeouf previously on Transformers.
No director is confirmed for the legal drama.
