Empire have given some details about Paul, the comedy vehicle for writers/stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Previously, we knew this: Pegg and Frost were set to play two British geeks who travel across America with an unexpected guest, the titular Paul, and Greg Mottola was set to direct.Edgar Wright is attatched to exec-produce and shooting begins in mid-April in New Mexico.
But now, it’s been announced that Paul, the film, is a sci-fi comedy and Paul, the character, is an alien trying to find his way home. He then enlists Pegg and Frost, who are on a road trip that takes in Comic-Con and Area 51, to help him.
