Latino Review spoke to Producer Marc Abraham and he revealed that he and John Carpenter are still developing a sequel to “The Thing”. Only it doesn't seem to be a sequel but a prequel.
"This is more of a prequel than a sequel, there is your exclusive. Its going to be taking place in the same time frame” and “These are the events leading up to the 1982 film.”
