The Who frontman Roger Daltrey has said his planned biopic about the late drummer Keith Moon has stalled because he has yet to receive a good script.
"They just don't get it," said Daltrey, who is producing the movie.
"When you see the kinds of scripts they've got in mind to make, it's sad," Daltrey told
Billboard"I don't want to do a 'Carry On' about Keith. If I can keep that from happening, I've done my job."
The film about Moon, who died of a prescription drugs overdose in 1978, has been in development for more than 15 years.
In 2005, Mike Myers had reportedly been lined-up to star as the rocker.
