Ghostbusters 3 Has It's Writers
After so many years of rumours and false hope, and then the recent rumblings it might be happening, it really looks like it is now happening. Yes, who you gonna call Ghostbusters 3 is finally coming.
Following Dan Akroyds video interview yesterday, Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (co-exec producers/writers on The American Office) have officially been hired by Columbia Pictures/Sony to pen the script for Ghostbusters 3. The script will reportedly bring together the original cast including Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, but talks will not start till script is complete.
THR says "The original filmmakers, including director Ivan Reitman, and cast are aware of the project and involved in its development. Some original cast members might be involved, but the focus will be on a new cast of Ghostbusters."
